  • Provide leadership in the strategic planning functions both operationally and financially
  • Assist to develop, direct and control the business strategic planning and development activities of the business unit
  • Regularly review the organizational structure of the business units to achieve the optimal cost efficiencies and business performances
  • Prepare, monitor business plans and advise the Head of the business unit as appropriate
  • Develop short, medium and long term business unit’s strategies and business plans for the achievement of overall business objectives
  • Drive the business unit’s forecasting and business analysis activities
  • Track, analyse and review financial and non-financial performance of regional and specific business lines on an annual and  quarterly basis to provide recommendations on areas for improvements
  • Brain storming and formulate ideas with the management team which have strategic impact to the business units, and further develop them into implementation plans
  • To review and drive strategic transfer pricing policy
  • Assist in the preparation of business plans, reports, budget and forecasts and regularly conducting Cost Benefit Analysis
  • Assist in defining and implementing business strategies, business planning and forecasting techniques
  • Provide business acumen in political and economic factors which may influence business plans and performances
  • Coordinate and support the new products launch across the region
  • Assist to review proposals for major capital expenditures to ensure conformity with corporate plans and sound economic justifications
  • Develop partnerships with external resource (distributors, vendors, etc)


  • At least MBA in Finance
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Familiar with distributors and direct sales model in an Instrument Company will be of highly added advantage 
  • Proficient in MS Office, possess high standard of financial and analytical knowledge and skills
  • Experienced and comfortable delivering presentations to large audiences
  • Strong leadership, inter-personnel, analytic and communication skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Familiar and comfortable working in a matrix structured organization
  • Competent and enjoy a fast paced working environment
  • Expected Traveling:  20-30%
