Marketing Manager (Chinese TV Channels)

  • This is an exciting role where the candidate will have the opportunity to work on
    • Regional marketing and planning for Chinese channels as well as
    • Singapore marketing for Chinese channels and an over-the-top product
  • The challenge is to build a strong multi-platform branded product with high recall/usage among various stakeholders.
  • Candidate will be required to work with various regional internal and external stakeholders to drive the subscription and brand awareness of the branded products.
  • Conceptualizing retail promotion strategies and execute marketing/PR campaigns and events based on the goals set.
  • Candidate will need to provide media and competitive monitoring relating to the Chinese TV/Movie and over-the-top industries.
  • Candidate should also manage relationship with key partners, production houses and distributors within the Chinese industries.
  • Candidates will be required to support trade and sales initiatives relating to the genre and products such as marketing events and campaigns.
  • Candidate is also required to work alongside colleagues from other division of the business to keep the product in good operation order.



Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develop bold cut-through marketing activation and communication plans aimed at increasing our multi-platform brand affinity, perception, viewership & subscription.
  • Tracking and maintaining of all marketing budget and expenditure, measured against set goals and marketing effectiveness.
  • Awareness and the skill to develop programs for exploiting digital and social media.
  • Partner with external agencies, including PR, creative and activation agencies in rolling out marketing initiatives.
  • Media and competitive monitoring
  • Develop synergy partnership programs with relevant organizations locally.



Job Requirements

  • Passion for Television with particular interest and general knowledge in international Chinese content and movies as well as over-the-top products
  • Ability to deal with pressure, ability to multi task and work with multiple touch points at the same time.
  • Good EQ is essential as the candidate will have to interact with various departments internally, as well as with external stakeholders.
  • Good attention to detail and strong project/organization skills
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing and communication. Background in Advertising, brand communications, event management, retail marketing, PR. Any experience working in the content and communication business is a plus.
  • Strong technology affinity. Strong digital and social media knowledge. 
  • University degree is essential.
