THE ROLE:

  • To develop positive business relationship with military procurement units within the Asia Pacific countries, and to be aware of medical trends and projects that will be implemented by respective countries.
  • To provide leadership and support for the military business, by appointing specialized military business partners, and supporting the county teams.
  • To execute business development and sales plans in the Military segment within Asia Pacific region.
  • To achieve business plans and revenue targets assigned within the designated territory

 

Job Dimension (Scope)

  • Develop and maintain business connection with procurement units in military outfits in the region.
  • Build partnerships with KOLs within the medical military field in the region.
  • Responsible for achieving consistent, growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment, coaching and management of military business partners.
  • Building and maintaining a high performance business partner organization to effectively achieve business objectives and to maximize revenue opportunities and optimize profits.
  •  Implement product and clinical activities according to regional strategy and marketing policy as laid out by global and international military teams.
  • Execute promotional plans and support the selling of the products in the designated territory.
  • Meet with each business partners frequently to assist in training, reviews, and major presentations and sales calls at military sites.
  • Manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel from the business partners.
  • Create Demand for the products and identify opportunities actively in the region.

 

Job Requirements

Education & Knowledge (Skills, competencies & languages)

  • Tertiary Qualifications - preferably in a business/medical/science field.
  • Previous working experience in military procurement or military supplies and distribution
  • Sales, marketing, and distribution experience in medical equipment will be added advantage
  • Willing to be trained extensively in the event that this experience is lacking

Experience (Type, & years)

  • Minimum 10 years in the medical healthcare industry or military procurement supplies
  • Formal military leadership training with medical procurement experience will be added advantage
  • Has successfully managed business partners or demonstrated leadership in military sales
