THE ROLE:

 

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic sales manager who can rapidly grow our core business in the fastest growing region –ASEAN; dealing with the Industrial Systems sector. New incumbent will be reporting to General Manager-ASEAN and heading a team of 8-10 sales representatives based in Singapore/ Thailand/ Malaysia
  • Work directly with stakeholders and prospects and with our relationship sales representatives to sell Energy, Power Tech, Materials, Wires & Cables, HVAC, Lighting, Appliances, and fire protection solutions in the ASEAN region
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive rapid business growth
  • Lead regional sales team & be responsible for overall team target
  • Works with Global Account managers in the development of global accounts strategies

§  Identify and develop new strategic initiatives in the designated territory for the company to grow the business beyond existing services and partnerships

  • Identify and engage stakeholders of assigned industry with focus in renewable energy and power technologies
  • Engage team members to identify prospects through various lead generating activities, including tradeshow, direct mailing, advertising, cold calling on key industry players and referral program

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering discipline,  IT or related field
  • Minimum 10 year of relevant experience with 3-5 years of team management experience required
  • Understanding of the designated territory TIC market (future market trends, technologies, regulation, competition, market structure, etc.) including a good knowledge of the other players in this market is highly preferred
  • Proven ability to operate in a team environment and work in a matrix organization
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to interact well with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to think creatively, identify problems and offer solutions with minimal guidance
  • Must be open to extensive regional travel up to 30-50%
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong business acumen
